With mine it's so uncommon that devices testing over 200 usually end up on the reject pile

Man, its a whole mixed bag I picked up, some in the card strips and some in bags.

Seems 4MJ and C29 are the most common, all dome headed, rather then the Philips Flat top style.

82/0.27 - 57/.017 - 65/0.34
67/0.27 - 59/0.25 - 67/0.21
78/0.27 - 62/0.27 - 83/0.45
67/0.34 - 63/0.21 - 83/0.27
108/0.32 - 86/0.27 - 62/0.25
57/0.34 - 65/0.36 - 85/0.32
83/0.40 - 63/0.38 - 78/0.32
86/0.25 - 81/0.25 - 76/0.32
96/0.17 - 55/0.21 - 65/0.36

Those readings are pretty typical for most production codes I have, no crazy high gains anywhere.

My last big batch of OC75's I specifically asked for higher Hfe values, so all were in the 100+ range, but this batch now was a random transistor score and still getting mainly 100+, even just switched out a fresh battery in my DCA, as you had me doubting my readings!
