FZ-1 hfe and leakage?
Lately I have been loving the Maestro Fuzz Tone sound. Does anyone here got an actual reading from an original FZ-1 unit? What would be the best gain and leakage to build a very good sounding FZ-1 clone? I've got some 60's gold lead TI 2G374's coming in a few days. Gain and leakage ranges from 70-150hfe and 200-400µA. I don't know if these transistors will be any good in a FZ-1 circuit.
