Hey, all. I'm trying to build a really accurate clone of the above. I've got the transistors figured (I think), but can't find a definitive answer regarding the germanium diodes.
Other observations (best hfe for transistors, best transformer, etc) are welcome too!
Thanks
p.s. If anyone knows where to source a good vintage-repro circuit board, that'd be great too.
What diodes came in the original Tycobrahe Octavia?

I have only seen unmarked diodes used, so not sure you will get a definitive answer.vanguard wrote:I've got the transistors figured (I think), but can't find a definitive answer regarding the germanium diodes.
Would expect some type of 1N34A / 1N60 or IN270 will get you where you want to be......would be surprised if anyone could he a significant difference between them in the Octavia.
