New variations on old stuff. MkII circuit, modified and adjusted accordingly for a hybrid silicon/germanium approach with negative ground using BC107B and AC176 transistors.

This a custom build for a friend who really liked the sound of a backline Fender Pro Jr he was using but wished it could be better (less noisy, primarily). So we have the Pro Jr circuit, built proper on tagboard, with a good grounding/shielding scheme. I made a few extra tweaks to keep things quiet, added a switchable cathode bypass on the primary gain stage, and included an extra "Hi" input which goes through an EF86 boost channel before hitting the normal circuit. Speaker is a new Jensen P10R. The cab is a recycled one from an old Pro Jr, missing the back panel so I took care of that.

Balls O-50. The early Orange OR80/OR120 circuit but with added mid control and master volume. ~50 watts.
