Not my bench but is my Airline 62-9013A amp. I'd held off on getting a service because it sounded pretty sweet from the get go, but I finally took it to Lachlan and Tom at Earthling Designs in Sydney and they made it sound even sweeter. They fitted a 3-prong cord and pulled out the "death cap" so I no longer have to flirt with the idea of sweet and sudden release whenever I plug in. They also replaced the electrolytic caps - which consisted of the filter caps and a 25uF cathode bypass cap in the output stage. Decommissioned the cap can and did the filter caps on tag strip (which you can see in the centre, mounted underneath the chassis). They did a great job. If anyone in Sydney ever needs any work done, give them a call.
Should also give a shout out to "PK", whoever he was, who did a very nice job on the point-to-point wiring in 1963 at the Danelectro factory. :tu:

Hey folks! I have a question, I have a MKII Tone bender OC81D on my breadboard right now. Gain and leakage read as follow, Q1= 58hfe/ 150mA, Q2= 54 hfe/ 100mA & Q3 is 100hfe/ 150mA.
Bias is really close if not identical to what Stu have posted here before. It sounds good to my ears but plenty gainy for my taste. Are the original OC81D MKII's really that gainy?

:badteeth:

Proper enclosure arriving later this week. Stock build this one. Second board on the bench come this weekend, with a few of their suggested modifications.

Yeah, the biznizcard thing is cool in any way!
Finished the buzzaround with 2SB185's, inspired by one of my fav. artists Molly Nillson I decided to
"Think Pink" - the pink is unphotographable but still shiny...
