rangemaster vs roosters

Post by jerms »

had another summit this weekend and did a clip comparing 3 different versions of rooster with an original rangie..... the original has a yellow jacket OC44, and from left to right, the first rooster has an OC140, next an orange jacket OC45, and the newest an AC128....

the original rangemaster just has something special going on...they all sound great though!!! In case anyone was wondering the setup for this video was a bit different from the usual: we used Jim's JMI AC-15 and his AMAZING 1964 Gibson SG with a bigsby...damn that guitar is cool!

Wot no OC71 Rooster?
They all sounded great.
The AC128 has loads of crunch and a bit more fizz -- I turn it down to about 3/4 and it matches up gainwise with the OC71.
Dear Bongo, No.
Good deals with all these guys
