Garnet BTO amp!!!

Post by jerms »

this is a rad amp i picked up last year..... the Garnet Big Time Operator! 100 watts with tube tremolo with illuminated tempo, built in tube stinger fuzz, its also got pull boosts on the treble and bass controls, and a pull bright switch on the volume, all with lighted indicators..... the audio may clip here and there 'cause it gets loud!!! the cab may be a bit bright for the head but the point gets across..... a really cool amp!! just the esquire straight in!!!

Randy lives up the road from me -- I keep hoping he'll have a garage sale one of these days and I can snag a bunch of this stuff :badteeth:
Garnet built some pretty rad amps.
Dear Bongo, No.

This amp sounds pretty awesome in person!! My 4x12 is bright in general, as is this amp, but with a mellower cab it's really really rule!! Jim, is this one 100 or 50 watts?

Very cool. Garnet are damn solid. I have a Tripper PA that I use for guitar; sounds like an early Deluxe. Beauty. If you can find it, I recommend watching, "The Gar Gillies Story."
