Sorry mang! Thought you'd get a kick out of it. Neat for what it is. Casiotron in a box I guess.

Satisfaction gives daCod no satisfaction btw.

I'm glad you guys posted, I've never been remotely near a mellatron so I don't know any better. Lol. Guess we're left waiting for the Strymon version. :hihi:

Mellotron sounds are 35 notes/unique recordings per sound, yah just can't get that with something like this. Of course, none of this is to say that it can't be made to sound good or work in a musical setting. :)

If yer a guitarist that can't play keys and isn't worried about too much authenticity, good times.

It'd be funny to hear a mellotron played through it. :smashed: :oldlol:

I can monkey my way way around keys, but I'm not a player really. If I can ever get a nice Vox Continental I'd give serious time to the instrument (would be my 4th time haha). That said, I'm not interested in something that doesn't sound authentic. I'm guessing you can get better results with a patch on a digital keyboard? I always get super excited about anything I can do with a guitar that I normally can't, and then logic sets in later.

You can get much more authentic sounds via actual samples. Loads of them on the go for free. :)

I love the mellotron sound but not that. It needs a tone control and Instant Lofi-like pitch bending.
