Fuck, that sounds amazing! Haven't been that excited by a fuzz sound since I first heard a Fuzzstainer.
So what exactly is it? Effects Database has it listed as an FZ-1 variant, but it sounds different to me - a little zippier and almost with an octave thing going on at some points. Is the circuit a variation on something else or is it its own thing?

^^^^^it’s def in the FZ-1 family in topography but running at 9 volts, instead of 1.5 or 3 volts.... could def be why it’s so blown out.... i’ll get the circuit traced at some point
