Post by Yggdrazil » Sat Mar 08, 2014 7:06 pm

Anyone knows how to embed ?

I tried to embed a bandpage from bandcamp but did not work...
Maybe i'm doing it the wrong way...

I don't think we have bandcamp tags here to embed.

We don't have bandcamp tags. I'll look into adding them...

OK, try this.

Code: Select all

[bandcamp]TrackID#[/bandcamp]
And let me know if it works.

You have to find the TrackID# and chuck it in between the tags.
EDIT: Ah, crap, looks like they changed the format from flash to something else. Hang on ...

OK, I've changed the code a bit. See if this works.

Code: Select all

[bandcamp]AlbumID#[/bandcamp]
So look in the embed code you'vegot from bandcamp and find the album=######## bit. (Yours is album=1868726274)
Paste that number in between the tags.

For example

Code: Select all

[bandcamp]1868726274[/bandcamp]
And the moment of truth...
Do you see the player ?

Note: This can only be used to embed whole albums/EPs.

I'm working on code for single tracks... give me a day or so.

Awesome work, dev!
While you're at it, is there any reason I'm unable to embed private Soundcloud clips here? It's supposed to be doable but I've never been able to make it work here. Here's an example URL from this thread: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=15141

Opened a can of worms haven't I? :hihi:

I think it has to be set to public on soundcloudfor it to embed, then you'd do it like this:

Code: Select all

[soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/andrewhumphreys-1/jerms-fz-1-demo/s-ywq4Q[/soundcloud]
