Jimmy plays the solo on this David Bowie - Mannish Boys tune from '65. Page had told Mayer about his issues with the Fuzz Tone and asked him to make a better one one 1964 (according to Mayer and Page). This is probably the Mayer Fuzz, as Bowie has stated Jimmy told them he had just gotten this new fuzz box and was exited about it when this was recorded in January 1965.

did he really play on this? I always thought that guitar intro was pretty good - didn't know it was The Black Prince himself...
