Don't be put off by the awful cover art, this is ace stuff. Singer/songwriter by the name of Ellington Jordan (who for some reason preferred to be called Fugi) with Black Merda as his backing group. Meant to come out on Cadet/Chess in the early 70s but they canned it because it was a little too freaky deaky.

^ Yeah, that's a good record, Captain. Lots of P-Funk guys in the backing band. She wrote a couple of tracks on the first Parliament album, "Osmium", too. I think it was because they were all on the same label, Invictus. And she co-wrote this, which I really like:
