Right on! This is new to me. Yah, Osmium is killer record, the fuzz tone on that version of Red Hot Mama is totally sick.

Man, check out this record from Priscilla Coolidge, Rita's sister. It's always reminded me of the Ruth Copeland record. Similar era and laid-back hippified feel and a little all over the place. It was made when she was married to Booker T. Jones, who also produced it. Lots of interesting players, too, like Ray Stinnett, who was in Sam the Sham & the Pharaohs, and put out his own solo record around the same time. Opening track and track seven, "Good Morning Freedom" (at 19 minutes in), are killer.
