I had predrilled enclosure for an old project and booster board ready, so I was forced to build 3 knob version with led and dc jack

Except range control and boost volume, you have bias - full clockwise is "standard" voltage, that you can lower. The difference is sublte, but changes the feel indeed - from open to more compressed/fatter signal.

No corners cut, including NOS black glass OC43.

This turned really great, imo. Bass lines were recorded with Rick into Hiwatt with black drive or/and black booster in between

I guess that everybody is fed up with booster, but here it goes

Black Yak - rangie with range, bias and boost controls + 2 switchable transistors: OC72 for cleaner tones and high gain OC43. My aim was to create really flexible booster that you can use with different guitars/pedals/amps. And of course, I really dig 2 board construction
