All right, Lonely Hunter #003 with NOS Mullard OC44yj is go. I put some really special caps in this one: Hunts .01 output, Sprague and Cornell "CUB" input caps. Also salvaged some Audiophile wire for effect in and out.Sounds real good. This one is spoken for; more on the way soon.

These all look fantastic. I can say from first ear experience the Zonks are the shit

Got this Tonebender MKI finished. I will do a few of these, and call them the Red Sam (thanks, Flannery!). Here's some pics, and an audio comparison between my Jerms MKI and this Red Sam #1. SOLD.

Finished up a Mullard OC141 equipped Hunter today. Really cool to hear how different it sounds compared to an OC44yj unit. Both transistors in the same gain range; both tuned to 6.8v on the collector. The OC141 is LOUD. It has a bold, ballsy clarity that makes me think Hiwatt.

Those OC140 series transistors make the best boosters, IMO. Built one out of a CV7112 and it slays.

Gorgeous work, btw.
