Let's see if this works? Just got my first digital camera three weeks ago and still figuring out how to take decent pictures...so here goes the porn.

Meathead Deluxe Germanium w/AC176's in Blue Hammerite. Thanks to Sickle for giving me the lowdown on how to upload these - hope they're not too big. A big thanks to Dave & Linzi for making this pedal. I don't have the regular Meathead Deluxe to compare any sonic differences, but this one definitely sounds great.

PS- mrpicard, I'll work on getting those pictures of the Riffdriver & others you wanted. I'll PM you when I have some to send.

If wires are occluded by the transistors in full view, that is a great idea!
And, William, excellent pedal. I want one of those badly!

sorry this maybe :errr: but doesn't the PCB
in the Meathead Deluxe Germanium w/AC176's in Blue Hammerite
look almost exactly like the first BYOC ESV Fuzzes?

I think a very small number of Ram Heads and Meathead Deluxes were built using BYOC PCBs a few years ago to fulfill demands to dealers. This prompted Dave to only sell direct and bring in the current wait list / ebay method. Nowadays all D*A*M pedals are build using stripboard.

I think the Meathead is a highly modded and supercharged fuzz face?

Edit: I think that PCB is from the old BYOC fuzz face not the ESV. The higher quality parts that D*A*M use (Ero Vishay caps etc) have since been brought into use by BYOC in the ESV kits.

Nice pics William! :badlove:

Yup, as mister Tatter says we used the BYOC boards in the narrow box Ram and Deluxes for a very short period.
It did indeed put things into perspective for me. Mass production and the use of PCB's ain't my bag. That's just a personal thing and purely in relation to how we like to do things. Lessons learnt and all that. :tu: I'll stick to our snail paced method of expansion and train up a new employee every couple of years. I'm in no rush to conquer the universe :hihi:

ok I stand corrected, the PCB is from the old BYOC Fuzz Face.
It was interesting to learn that the Meathead is a supercharged FF

I'd be up for a Germ Meathead, or a silly cone one for that matter. I've got some cash stashed for when the next waitlists open.

Can someone do a version of this that says 'soundclips' instead of 'pics'?
