Dam Octafish, custom creation of which only two have been built so far....huge huge thanks to the Captain for this masterpiece 
Based upon two original Tychobrahe Octavia's the OV.1 is thoroughly researched and faithful sonic replication. The transistor line-up is as one would see in a vintage unit, a single MPSA18 and 2 x MPSA6519's. These devices have been carefully tested and selected to match the specification of the original units and yield superior performance and excellent signal-to-ratio. All passive components have been stringently selected to emphasize the archaic nature of this now legendary circuit. The circuit construction itself has been executed via the use of matrix board. Similar in construction to strip board but minus the copper tracks, it basically means each component is hard wired point-to-point to the next delivering and very strong and rugged finished piece. All hardware is of high quality and has been chosen for the utmost in longevity and reliability.
Sonically it is as one would expect from a vintage piece. Fearsome output levels with a massive tonal spread with solid and punchy lows and searing highs. The octave effect is very dynamic in nature and responds superbly well to variation in pick attack and guitar level input. There is good spread of colour from the Boost control ranging from subtle harmonic drive tones to intensely saturated overblown fuzz.
