Meathead Deluxe Tone and Volume - Clarification?

Does the Volume knob on the MHD act as a master output volume...and I believe the tone acts like the one on the Drag N Fly but with a bit more range? Are these ass-hump-chuns correct? Thanks to anyone that can provide clarification!
