If El Diablo hadn't been unveiled at the same time I would have went for this. There are only so many fuzz pedals I can buy at a time.

So , I actually got 10 minutes to myself to sit down and A/B silver and yellow - and what a great ten minutes it was !!!!!!!
Actually very different
Silver went on first - fat smooth sizzling fuzz with sustain that just goes on and on and on - massive tonal sweep - just proper MKIII/IV business .
Yellow - still loads of guts but . . . well it snarls ! The big difference for me was on single notes - yellow breaks up and buzzes in a very nice germanium way .
Its almost like the silver sounds like a singer with a beautiful smooth voice and yellow is nearing the end of the tour after a few too many encores and much too much Jack Daniels - getting raspy and spitting at the audience - but the rasp really works and the rock and roll attitude is very apparent .
ok - enough - im going to bed - im talking gibberish - singers indeed !!1
