Yes, that would be great as it gives the pedal even more vintage mojo and authenticity. Not to mention that the type looks uber-cool too, Microgramma bold extended to be exact (or Eurostile bold ext if you really want to be pedantic). The Sola Sound (London) LTD looks like Futura. Sorry for being a nerd! :hihi:

Nice demo too, it sounds blinding!
I'm not sure wether the vintage units used microgramma or eurostile. I should look into the subtle differences. :hihi:

The hard font to find out is the one used for the Tone Bender logo. I've been looking hard for this one, but no luck. There probably is no digital version, but finding the name out would still be quite awesome.
Everything is transitional.

Yeah I think they all used Microgramma tbh, they re-designed the font in the nineties and added lower case letters and for some reason re-named it Eurostile. But they're basically the same.

The Tonebender logo looks like a custom one to me, probably hand-made/drawn for that specific job. I think. :tu:

EW found it in a scene from a 1971 film.

Wow nice spot eagle eyes. This makes me want to investigate this font even more. It's out there, somewhere. Maybe.

I found it in other places, too.

Eurostile has been around since 1962. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurostile
There are subtle differences between the two: http://sdesadvtype2013s1.blogspot.de/20 ... stile.html

Ah yes 1962. That's what I meant to type but it came out 'the nineties'. :oldlol:

Looks like that Tone Bender logo may have been an old Filmotype font that just hasn't been digitised yet, and may never be.

^I reckon too. I spent some time looking for mid-'60s Letraset fonts. Letraset were in London and had dry-rub lettering by 1961 so are probably good contenders. No luck, tons of ’70s stuff, but earlier sheets are hard to find.

I've got a Letraset sheet of the font they used for the Level/Attack labels. It's the correct size even ;) Has never been digitized either..
So many font nerds here all of a sudden :badteeth:
