Its ace Cody :crackjam: can be a bit crackly and crumbly but in a good way then when you find the sweet spot its MKI mayhem

according to the Sola Sound Reverb page the DAM ones are sold out :idunno: unless you buy a set of 4 that is

Good call man! Daves sounded a bit strange by the description but hey ... the guy could tune anything to sound musical so of course it was going to be a winner!!! Congrats

If anyone is thinking about going for the DAM one, DO IT. It compares directly to the original 65 with 2G381s that I have here. The tone of the Sola is more nasal- there is no good or bad to this- it’s just a different tone. And it’s based on a different unit than the 65 so would make sense. It has a ton of gain and sustains beautifully. It has the sizzle and crackle of the OG 65. It can literally sound like there is electricity under your finger tips. I can coax ring modulator like artefact out of it. It does like a strong pick attack and it won’t reward sloppy playing. Legato is probably not the way forward either. But an awesome sound, and very unique one at that. All the classic tones are there and it can be as progressive as your imagination will let you. Hats off Dave. And thanks to Ant for providing the original.
