Yesterday i found (by accident) an amazing combination...sola sound mk 1.5 into the gb-83 !! What a sound! Superb dynamics and a tone to die for.
The gb-83 is really an amazing pedal, especially when stacking to other pedals.

^^I hear ya Nick...GB-83 is one of those pedals that just gets better and better and better as you discover its secrets....I'm continually blown away by what it can do.

Yeah I've been using it to push other fuzzes or as a boost or sorts, on it's own it's very very loud.

yeah super loud indeed !!! I rarely venture above 3 on the volume knob....
