Vintage Technology Toad

Post by TheWarmth »

Man, this thing is badass! Balls-out fuzz! Sounds silicon to me, but I can't tell by looking at the guts. Also, I'm fairly certain that this is not one of the Bad Cat reissues, even though it's super clean.

Yo

Its silicon like all the VT stuff. Has the "use eveready 216" thing on the back. Not a reissue.

Isn't it weird the way the footswitch is at the top of the pedal? I think the changed that on the reissues.

Fuzz Face/Vox Tone Bender kinda thang. The Orange Sunshine is similar to the Toad just it ain't ain't so chewy and its much more polite. The Orange Sunshine is probably one of the nicest sounding fuzz boxes you'll hear. The tone suits the name perfectly. Its warm fuzzy sunshine in a box.
