Colorsound (Supa?) Fuzz Wah Swell Chrome
Just got this home , but thought this 3 knob version was a Supa Fuzz Wah Swell? It's not in its best shape atm but the fuzz sounded so good so did the swell. The Wah was really scratchy im afraid, some polishing to do.

Exact same fuzz board as in all the 3rd party late 70's Sola builds - B&M - Champion - GB - CMI - similar to Jumbo Tonebender - more like a Muff than the earlier TB versions. There is a thread in the pedal porn area about them. Chromies are extra nice, many CS pedals were available as special order at an extra cost but probably less than five to ten percent of pedals were actually produced in chrome. This final version of Colorsound's venerable F-W-S line that started out in the early 70's was normally built in the traditional yellow (CS ran specific pedal lines in separate colours ----as a rule) but I also have an example in grey - an unusual colour for the model.
My favourite amongst the CS wah fuzzes, much more versatile than the regular treadle only versions!! Mind you those are my other favourite pedal

Salute Graham! I wanted a Colorsound wah for some time and suddenly this one showed up. I absolutely love it and as you said graham versatile. Now all cleaned up and eveything works great even the wah. Only the screw to the wah that keeps unscrew

I always wanted the orange ColorSound wah/volume/fuzz pedal that James Burton used during "Elvis: Aloha From Hawaii". There's one on Ebay right now - but it's got a $400.00 price tag on it.....and at that price, I'll never get one. The reissues don't come with the volume swell circuit, unfortunately, and I don't like the fact that they don't have a 9V adapter/DC Brick input.....but I absolutely love the sound!!!

There's an auction going on Ebay for a brand new one right now but, as usual, I'm tapped out money-wise (it sucks being disabled and not being able to work) and I wanted this one SO bad!!
