What about "Curly"? Isn't it rumored that Peter used a home made fuzz dubbed the "Buzzeroo"?

Well . . . . . It wasn't the most normal conversation I've ever had in my life .
He's actually come in again since then and didn't say anything about fuzz .
Was actually looking for a Hofner semi !

So Hofner through a silver Tonebender if you want the current PG sound ???? :)

Yeah, he was playing a Hofner Verithin a few years ago when I saw him play in Limerick. Plugged straight into a Fender amp if I recall rightly - no fuzz!!

He was really incredibly good and appeared to really enjoy the extremely positive vibe from the audience. One of the best gigs I ever did saw

Well, that 'curly' track sounds like a fuzz... doesn't it?

sort of fizzles-out on the end of notes, and seems like the clipping level changes, depending on how hard he plays.

Ah but he didn't say he used a blue tonebender, just that he had one. So - Les Paul > Blue Tonebender (switched off) > Matamp 2000. It all makes perfect sense now.
