A couple more pics of the one Cody had delivered for me (thanks man! :tu: ).
Number 2487, more pics on the previous page. It's a really nice sounding unit, biased just right.
I managed to get some of the white paint off with some very gentle sanding.

Has anyone ever seen a JEN made Vox TB labeled "Tonebender II" ??
I saw one once and it was black with silver plate if i remember correctly.
Checked Barts site but could not find it there.

I never saw one of those, so that would be interesting to find!

Yeah, i am sure that i saw one about 10-12 years ago in a local shop but was not quick enough.
I know who the guy is that bought it so i can try to track him down.
It might have been a JEN labeled pedal as well, but i remember Vox.

There have been JEN made Vox TB which were black with a "silver" plate. They had a Jen FZ-III pcb (3 transistors silicon) inside but I have never seen one which was labelled "Tonebender II".

Newbie here, so I hope that I'm posting correctly. I bought devnjullp's wonderful red Vox pedal. I picked up the grey Vox because it looked like it might be a '66. The eBay listing showed that the cap was under the board, but I couldn't tell what the black transistor was until it arrived. It turns out to be a two SFT circuit, but with the cap below, so maybe it could be called a transitional pedal. It sounds pretty close to the red pedal.

Has anyone seen one with a black SFT transistor?
