:coffee: interesting Ian. I have a sent word to someone whom has been very receptive to all my naggravations to bench it. Although she has much age and some corrosion, she isn't what I would consider brittle. Still, best for it to be dismantled where it can be properly cared for (I mostly just stomp the shit out of them!). I may try to loosen the board later depending upon how the flathead screws respond to torque. There is much more corrosion on the screws holding the board than anywhere. I expect some component failure as well.

Wow cool. Any chance of a shot of the top side of the board?

:coffee: yeah, it's definitely not a buzzaround, but it is an old bitch that may have been constructed from Burns' ideas. I spent a good 3-4 solid hours removing the fresh paint. I just couldn't accept it. When I went to pick it up and they showed her to me, I put on my game face, held back the laments, and told how wonderful of a job they had done. Sad, they did shitty job painting the plate they had fabricated, but must have put numerous coats on the box! The last two pics are after I got back down to the oroginal leather and a shot from beneath the board. I figured if I could spend all that time in intensive care, I should be able to remove board for a shot.
