1st gen Schaller Ge fuzz
a low ebay bid and this is unexpectedly mine - all original including amusing 4PST switch, weird power switching jack, old school cloth covered wire, cool primitive pcb and 2 x AC192s. A woolly Fuzz Face /1.5 type circuit with its own charms. I've seen few grey hammertone ones online, but only no orange ones! German labelling is cool too. I guess it's '67/8?
Handmade, high-impact, great-looking radical queer germanium fuzz. A different approach to 1960s-inspired fuzz pedals, no clones, check them out at https://goodfuzzysounds.com or on YouTube https://tinyurl.com/GFS-YT

Oh, DB? That's just slang for Dandy Big muff collector.

one reason it didn't get higher is that the seller didn't allow outside UK bidders

Re: 1st gen Schaller Ge fuzz
thanks... but I really thought the seller was going to update to "worldwide" until last moment... and I am a last seconds bidder
But of course, next time, I'll consider UK mates
Anyway, good for you Simon

Re: 1st gen Schaller Ge fuzz
Thanks guys!
The enclosure is metal and quite hefty for its size. It still has original knobs and feet etc, which is a rare treat too.
Has anyone seen this style of pcb before? It's almost like a cross between stripboard and a 'real' pcb.
