i know he was the first guy to get menatone to make the pig pedal..... posted on here about it.... not sure about a pig amp.....

Lol, this. I would prefer to go a different route, but I never had a reason to look before. If one 200w transformer is going to cost over $500 then I'm building a small amp lol.

Thats why i went 50W. No one needs 100 watts, let alone 200 in the modern age. If I had to build a 200W amp, though, i'd look to Heyboer for transformers. Much more affordable and they'll build you about anything. I usually use MagComp or Edcor stuff, but they dont make anything over 100W.

*edit* PLUS with iron like that you're gonna need a steel chassis, and I dont know of anyone that makes one stock that would work, so you're talking custom fab. Its just not worth it, imo.
