Shame, if you still had that cab we could have discussed a deal. I miss my T652
sold it at least 10 yrs ago, Stu got it.

Yep, still got it. :chillin:

BTW, T652 in Marshalls, T731 in Selmers. Same spec, but the T731 had a darker grey hammer finish.

Apologies yes the T731 was used in Selmer amps and cabs.
Virtually same speaker with a Oyster Hammerite and I'm opting for more of a bronze colour than dark grey! Here were two of mine T0652 on the right and T731 on the left . Never should have sold em... story of my life :hihi:

jerms wrote:i concur on the super reverb! for me it's the best fender combo for sure.... my 68 black line super rev.... thus was a basket case when i got it, had horrible vinyl naugahyde on it, and the grill cloth was changed to black... got some tolex and an OG baffle from larry rodgers.... this thing rips!!!
I love my Super Reverb - it's a BF 67. The speakers were replaced with some 77 CTS with aluminum domes. Sound good enough that I don't need to change them. New electrolytics, new trem bug, a couple other fixes, and a new set of old AX/AT)s and a pair of STR387s and the thing is the tone. Nothing like 4 speakers talking to you at once. A workhorse not a beauty off CL for 900 a couple years back - think I did okay.
