so, what's going on there? it's a 1A rebuilt as a 1? or a 1 in a 1A enclosure made in '65? crazy talk! And what's with that switch washer? never seen one like that, though I had a 1 with the remains of a PAF sticker on the bottom.

Obviously the diameter of the hole was enlarged to fit the switch. someone also took the time and cut it so it would thread onto the switch. Clever.
