That mk 1.5 1966 D*A*M clone is on the floor, far right.. in this pic its the first pedal my guitar is plugged into.

In this pic Im pretty happy with everything but I am gassin really hard for a Dawner Prince Boonar to replace the DBD. :badteeth:

Isnt he the man??? Stu has incredible ears and everything he builds is KILLER. He told me he would build me a 1966 if I wanted one. As far as the rare nkt trannys if he doesnt have them he has said I could send him my sunface to rob them but man.. the resale value of my 2006 near mint low gain white dot nkt275 Sunface is getting crazy and I would those funds to pay for the toys.

:marx: Yea.. I may gotta send Stu a email. The last pedal from him ( the Olympic ) was the most incredible fuzz sound Ive been knocked down by in YEARS! :hihi:

cash in that sunface and forget about nkt275's unless you're looking for an original arbiter, my opinion

And buy what? I think the nkt's are the shiz nickels. I love the top end clarity and the cleanup.. ive had 4 different Sunfaces with all diff transistors but you know.. there is a lot of variance from pedal to pedal.. even with the same exact parts. All those parts are like ingredients in a soup and it seems you get a diff sound every time you throw it all together and solder up.

Yeah my original arbiter is awesome. Perfect cleanup. Stu's sounds so close you can only slightly tell a difference back to back. I think he's got nkt transistors that have a different stamp on them.
Silicon bc813l has a good nkt like cleanup also. Sometimes I prefer it.

I would get a castledine. Original arbiter if you have to have nkt275

Those BC183l transistors sound great. Very warm. NKT warmth and BC108 cut

How would OC81's compare to NKT275's in the fuzzface circuit? Looking for fine details in eq, clean-up, compression, attack.

Those OC81's are germ.. arent the BC183l's silicon?
