help? 70s fuzzface questions
A friend and fan of our old band sent me a fuzzface. He needs a car, so i am going to fix and sell for him.
Cap to ground has 69 date code, the smaller pot is 72. The allen bradley is 93, so we know that's a replacement.
Is the spread between 69 and 72 common for this era?
Is that smaller pot original type?
more photos shortly,
thank you all

both pots look replaced. that circuit is probably from 1969-1970.

Yeah I’d say late 69 or 1970. Definitely pre 72

Re: help? 70s fuzzface questions
I've seen them with 9-69 pots. Chances are they came with 11-69 and 12-69 pots as well, as these date codes seem to have been in use concurrently. Next batch of pots they used was 7-0, so it was likely built between fall '69 and mid '70
Everything is transitional.
