yep... pretty much the only dif is silicon diodes in the dod, germanium diodes in the mxr. which makes the dod louder...

I also remember the Captain telling me and innerflight that he once got a Cornish SS3 and cracked it open ( sacrilege to break those seals :paranoid: :hihi: ) to find its basically a Dist+ circuit :popcorn:

Pretty sure my old Grey 250 had a 100k Level pot. Thought that was a stock thing on the 250's?! :hmm:

Hi!

I have an early 2010s "Brown Sound Brown Sugar". It's a USA made boutique clone of the "De Armond Square Wave" which as I understand it was an early pedal based on the MXR Dist+ circuit.

Any info about the Brown Sound or the Square Wave?
