Cleanup on Isle FZ-1A

So my AA battery shit the bed sometime in the pedal. What's the best way to clean this stuff off of the battery contact? Looks like the negative connection got broken also.

I did the same to my Pigdog FZ-1 :(

I’m gonna just bite the bullet and replace the battery clip.

It could be two or three or maybe even four years since I've used this pedal. The crystal looking stuff is what's new. The rest of the crap on the base has been there ever since I got the pedal back in the late '90's.

I have always wondered if the stuff they have for cleaning up car batteries would work or not.
