I know there are pics showing JP with the Arbiter head on the two Transonics, but during the actual filmed performance, it seems that there’s now a cab similar to JPJ’s being used. What is it?

Dunno, but I wonder what it was like sitting right infront of it?

And, how come his tone is sooo distorted when he only clicks the Tone Bender on for a few solos?

Full on pic...still can’t make out what the circular label is, but they seem to match the head. Anyone?

I think those are just stickers to cover the logo...looks like the ones he put on his dragon tele later.

I was thinking the same thing, except the circles were used before the guitar was stripped and painted as the dragon.

Anybody recognize that head?

my guess the amp he is using on that danish tv show from 1969 is a ARBITER POWER 100 watt head
if you look at his gear list that was amp with those knob thatt he was using at that time .
arbiter was a company that were selling and making of gear in the UK.
like Fuzzface pedals, amps, drums etc

the cab could be a Who style Marshall 8 x 12 as they had side strap handles like that.
before they became recessed on later cabs.
not many were made because their crew bitched about them being heavy and had them cut in half to make into 4 x 12 cabs
but not 100% sure about this just a guess.
