here's the zonk II schem.... i'll bet it's a 470K before the volume....

Bias resistor on Q3 collector looks like 8K2, right?

Wow, thanks Jim, that's super awesome of you!

Since you've built quite a few JHS, I'm wondering if you know... was the Shatterbox all 2n4061's? If I'm not mistaken the treble booster is also a 2n4061. And the shatterbox was just the Zonk II + the treble booster, correct?
