Haven’t these si MB’s got a germanium feel to em anyway?
From the reviews I’ve heard off the brothers it seems like these si MB’s will be the end to the fuzz face search...
I sure hope so as I’ve put my order in.

I have several Si fuzz faces including three different Si Head Buzz incarnations. These are all fantastic... but the Maggot owns them all somehow.
It has the Si FF punch and a fantastic clean up and no harsh spikes at all , it is tuned to have a Ge-like round sound. When you roll back the guitar volume there is no gating or farting sound. It just gets looser, fluffier, soupy more fuzzdrivy and maggoty... with just the right amount of high frequencies and everything.
When Si FFs have this spikiness I like to play them through an amp that is a bit more cooking. The Maggot sounds amazing like that but also with a 'clean' amp.
To sum it up: I was never so Ge-pleased by a SI fuzz face!
...this is me speaking about my maggot through my setup - with my taste...so...
But I really have to hold back to buy another one -each time the captain offered some more

I'm down for a ge MB / FH, as well. If there's a list, put me on it.

Perhaps a short run of one day auctions. Going by the price of the head buzz that was auctioned recently, makes a great deal of business sense. Let’s get down on the killing floor. Whoever wants it the most will get it

Sounds not fair. Money should not always make the world go round.Pahathuasyndicate wrote: ↑Wed Jul 04, 2018 4:54 pm Perhaps a short run of one day auctions.
