Hey, nice to see you over here!

I just sent you a PM over there about the Deluxe lists but if you're here you're probably clued into that already.

TBH I think all this frenzy surrounding these Meatheads is a bit of an anomaly .. partly due to hype coming off the back of the Buzzaround feeding frenzy, and partly due to the fact that these Meatheads are slightly tweaked and I think some people are regarding them as custom deals (I don't really see them that way apart from the paint job I guess, as the Meathead build seems to gradually evolve over time anyway).

Usually it's not that hard to get hold of the rank-and-file D*A*M pedals like the Meathead and the Titan, as the Captain alluded to .. it took me bloody ages to sell my Titan earlier this year, and that was at cost price plus it was a custom colour. So if you keep looking I think you'll find a Meathead or a Deluxe sooner rather than later.

I was referring to "sniping" as trying to time your page refresh and everything to win an auction. Maybe not the best term to use for this but it's what I came up with at the time. And am I really angry that I didn't get one yet?.....no not at all. I'm just poking some fun at a process that I fine kind of funny. Never had to get into an ebay bidding war where a couple of seconds and my internet connection are the difference between winning and losing.

0 for fucking 18!
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.

Likewise!

I sent another PM to you over there, too. But yeah, I hope you're right. I really feel like it's time to move onto something else. Those green Big Muffs have served me well, but they don't seem to fare as well when the Oranges are full tilt.

Hello Everyone:

I have been reading the site for about 2 years, never logged on. I enjoyed the banter, passion for fuzz...no more so the pornographic lust for Dave's pedals. Yes. I have had my wallet at the ready and like a half starved chicken pecking at the computer as soon as the glimpse of a pedal appeared on the site. Searching ...longing for the "Buy Now" button..my heart racing, foaming at the mouth..OH MY "Bidding for Item as ended" ...Similar items?. Search again and yet again, pictures are still up and then... there.. is .......no more.

As I write I see the "smilies" some taunting me and some hoping that I select them to end my thoughts.

The fuzz ..the fuzz why does it haunt me so?

I managed to score a Meathead, I was thinking of trying for two and putting one up for a charity/forum lottery and donating all the funds generated to a charity of Dave's choice, but as you can see, that never worked out, Ah well maybe next time.
