Hi Captain, hi Crew,
I'm Davide from Italy. Only to tell you all about the review I wrote about Tone Bender in this italian guitar site. I want to say a special "thank you" to Dave Main for the help he gave me. His web site was a very good source.

Hope you'll enjoy it (sorry, it's in italian).
All the best

Nice one Davide! Looks real cool and very nicely put together.
BTW- The the section entitled "Il VOX Tone Bender italiano" is that about the Vox Tone Bender or the Sola Sound MKI.5?....the pic you got there is a MKI.5.

Re: Tone Bender review on italian site
Hi Dave, in that section the text is about the italian Vox Tone Bender, but in the pic there's a MKI.5. The pics are in a random way, but in the text there's a description of made each single model. I haven't made the web editing of the article. This is the last phrase of the article:
Chi invece volesse comprarlo già fatto, l’unico produttore che realizza il Tone Bender secondo la “ricetta” originale del 1966 è Dave Main (vedere sotto per il link del suo sito sito).
If you don't understand italian, I translate: Whoever want to buy a new one, the only
tone bander made following the original "recipe" is built by Dave Main (see below for the link).
This was my way to say thank you for your help in my restoration job.

That was a good story. It is a shame that an English version is not posted here...
