It can't be a bread on the table thing because surely Gary would just call me and do something really cool . He knows the only thing I have a problem with is an association he assured me was 100% in the past now .

someone (assuming one of the directors) contacted Clayton @ HiTONE amps about going in and coming onboard with the "new" HIWATT. he REALLY wanted to but coming up with the money to buy-in would have killed his dental practice and possibly his marriage.

they also wanted him to farm out the production overseas and introduce some 'budget' builds ala pcb chinese cheapies. that style of work is not in his blood. hard pass, even if he did have the funds. just didn't like the smell of things.
