For a guitar like that, I would fuck pedals - at least I'd certainly try! :tu:

So I've been hella obsessed with REM's first EP and couple of LP's, and Peter Buck's inventive use of chorus is part of the magic. I was driving around in this small Southern mountain town today and was like, maybe I'll luck out and find an old Boss or Ibanez analog chorus at the little ma 'n' pa. I stop in and, serendipitously, under the glass was a brand new, mid-90s Dano pedal that runs at 18v and has the nice old-production BB chips. It had just been sitting in that bin for over 20 years, lol. Sounds so fat and swirly; damn close to my trusty old CE-1 and worlds better than the CE-2 and similar. Nails those "Murmur" jangle tones too. Sometimes I love me a hype-free sleeper.

Moogerfooger Ring Mod. Sometimes the passage of time is scary. I can't believe I have been planning on purchasing this pedal for two decades. I was surprised they were discontinuing them but twenty years is a good run!
I'm 40 years old and this put things in a weird perspective.

Ha, I'm planning to get one before they reach "collector" status as well :hihi: Had one 10 years ago and it was great. Additional lfo section makes this pedal so cool!
