Nice pedal steel
Grips fours string at a time across the steel is the way to go
A whole new world of sound.
Can work well with fuzz too
Check out what Daniel Lanois style on his Shobud LDG steel

Highly recommend a mastery for these. Really makes them an amazing playing instrument!

I hate Mastery, and this is no secret, but for the Bass VI I think even they would agree that their offset bridge is insufficient as it doesnt have the travel to intonate properly. The far better option is Staytrem. They appear to be out of stock of their BassVI bridges at the moment but they're available on Reverb and eBay.redeyeflight wrote: ↑Tue Aug 07, 2018 2:20 am Highly recommend a mastery for these. I also like a hardtail plate on my Bass VI to increase rake angle and stability.

Sigh. I feel like I've had this argument with you before Tony. But if you wanna have it again: I had two seperate staytrem bass VI bridges on my squier bass VI and both rattled like crazy on the low E string. They even admitted that the plastic bushings they use on the intonation screws "come loose" and need to be reset. I couldn't ever get the damn thing to work reliably. The mastery on the other hand intonates perfectly on the bass VI and has no rattles or buzzes and usually increases sustain I've found.
