"Fantastic Man", a doco about William Onyeabor, with some nice background on the Nigerian music scene at the time. Great story, well worth 30 minutes of your time:

This was fucking great:

"Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World".
Charley Patton. Link Wray. Robbie Robertson. Some guy by the name of Jimi Hendrix. Jesse Ed Davis. And did I mention Link Fucking Wray? Oh, and he wasn't a guitar player, but Randy Castillo!
Pretty amazing history when you line them all up in a row…

Got GIMME DANGER from Seattle Public Library today...
Edit: jarmusch did a fine job. I just wish there were a 2nd disc with like 3 hours of live stooges footage, like that Ramones release...

^^^Cool stuff, definitely going to watch. I always thought one of Ronno’s best moments (aside from the work with Bowie), was on the alternate take of Madman Across The Water...sans the orchestration and replaced with Ronno’s tape delayed wailing.

The Clapton documentary "Life in 12 Bars" is up on YouTube, but probably not for long. I'm not done watching it, but it's good so far.
