I am totally allergic to animals but my wife and kids are all nuts for creatures of any size, so I have no choice but to suffer. Our cats are strays we rescued in NYC and moved out to PA where they wreak mayhem on the local squirrel/bird populations, this is Peggy Sue (total fraidy cat):

and this is Pinky with my daughter Rose, which one has the worse attitude is still indeterminate:

And this is Dekker (as in Desmond Dekker) our Labradoodle. He was supposed to be our 3rd kid, found out my wife was pregnant a week after we got him. It's all good though, he has turned into a very chill dog as he's gotten older.

We also have a parrot, a hamster, a rabbit, a guinea pig, and several fishtanks. As I said, my family is nuts for animals. And I am resigned to a life of antihistamines and sneezing.

Sorry, I'm a spider systematist (arachnology), what would ya expect?? I do have a cat and dog too, both are purebred mongrel, but I love 'em.
