I had a late 70s Strat that was 11+lbs, and weighed more than either of my Les Pauls. Traded it for an upright bass that probably weighs more than all of those put together :hmm:

I was in the same boat (anchor) with my Greco Les, but once you start playing the weigh won't bother you at all. Can't wait to hear what you get out of it. :tu:

It's probably the easiest to play les paul I've played, more so than my long sold Gibson les paul standard and custom! :shocked:

However, the bridge pickup is a bit honky and muffled, but it could just be my ears being so used to single coil strats and teles.

I'd experiment with that and the pot values. (But then, I'd also flip the magnet in the neck pickup for OoP (talking of which, I need to do that with my R4)
