I have a 50s LPJr that someone has put a Tele pickup in at one point in its life.

Makes sense to me, but how would it work, two independent volume pots? Is there a new channel drilled through from the output for the hookup wire? If i saw this somewhere else I'd assume advanced photoshop skills, but the level of detail required would also indicate insanity.

Not sure, no other holes drilled for pots, so your guess is as good as mine. I've had this guitar for years and only just noticed the route as I'd never take the pickguard off.
