don't pay more than $1500.... the only clone that nails it is the one dino made.... not sure these modified copies really get anywhere near what the OG's sound like... the dimehead lacks lowend depth and it just seems too refined.... part of the charm of the OG is it's ragged almost unpredictable nature... the montreal might be cool but IMO they should have left the mechanical selectors and added the cv controls... i guess i'm a purist!! :oldlol: it'll be interesting to see what it's like sonically....

yeah it was impressive but for lack of a better term, the PLL had more balls. Still wonder if it's just a matter of higher voltage.

I thought the demo of the ft elettronica sounded decent...seems like they added the extra features on the actual pedal too like dino's clone. I found that demo on YouTube but didn't have much luck in searching the web for a company website or a price.
