Ceriatone Klon klone

Got my hands on the Ceriatone a couple days ago. It really sounds great. Couldn't get a bad sound out of it. Or maybe that was just my brilliant playing?

Am I the only person who wants to get one of Ceriatone’s enclosures and put the anti-Klon in it? Like some sort of 3-knob Uglyface/PLL/Harmonic Percolator/Fuzz Factory/Lovecraftian Abomination that sounds like it’s going to bring about the end of days.

I’ve decided to jump down the rabbit hole with a Fredric Zombie Klone. Looking forward to comparing it with my only other overdrive, my silver screw Boss OD-1.

I have a silver klon, and tried a ceriatone. The ceriatone sounds good but the mids are different compared to a -at least my- klon. Closer then the archer, but i still prefer the original.

I have to agree with maestro. The ceriatone sounds great, and looks the part incredibly well. But comparing it to an original silver klon it does sound a bit stiffer in the midrange. To me its plenty close enough (personally I like the tumnus since its fits on my pedalboard) but it doesn't exactly nail the sound of an original in my opinion.

My arc effects was great. Still, my Klone is purely for goosing other pedals. Very rare do I use it on its own
