Interesting to see the two Tone Bender camps on here though - the thickness of the MkII vs the spit of the MkI. I find myself in the middle, hoping to find a fuzz which nicely balances the two. I've read that the Marshall Supa MkI circuit may be the very thing I am looking for, so I'm eyeing up the Castledine.

Can I just state my Mr Morphine MK1 supa struggles with humbuckers. I'm assuming the MK1 supa circuit does in general?!

Oh my!
Ok nicely done love the Truth album.
Mine tends to overally bloom out and compress. Still one of my favourite fuzz's in my collection though!
I might try it again. It has been rather hot this past week if the temperature had anything to do with it?!

I'll have to ask Mr Castledine for his advice regarding the Supa MkI with low output humbuckers. Philip's clip above is just perfect - the right balance of thickness, clarity and spit. That's my biggest gripe with the MkII, it can be overly compressed and lacking in clarity. But I just love its theremin-like overtones. The Tone Bender quest continues...

I like Supa MKIs with humbuckers. The way its set up affects if the front end gets pummeled.
Condolences, the bums lost!

I had Stus MK1supa. To be honest I don't think I gave it enough time for me to get used to it.
Stus stuff is top knotch though! It was no fault of the pedal obviously me. The new owner loved it!!!
